Samsung Galaxy tab S6 Lite Best Android Tablet has a 10.4-inch display that looks crisp and very narrow bezels with included Galaxy S Pen for marking up your documents or general sketching or note-taking. It has a large 7040 mAh battery which enough to get the tablet through more than 2 days after heavy use. But recharging it with its charger it’s taking a while. Of course, this tablet is faster than Amazon Fire HD 8 thanks to its an eight-core processor and 4 GB RAM. New Samsung’s One UI version of Android is a little bit Confusing but has lots of customizations for the Galaxy S Pen and other apps designed for this big screen. Sadly, Samsung has kept some of the features, like as the Dex Desktop UI and the Galaxy S Pen gestures for the expensive Samsung Galaxy Tab S6. Also, this S6 Lite has a fingerprint sensor.
- Premium Design
- Big screen, S Pen support on a budget
- Good battery life
- Excellent sound over AKG-tuned stereo speakers
- Good gaming performance
- Android 10 and One UI 2.1 out of the box
- General performance isn’t that great
- LCD display simply isn’t as good as Samsung’s AMOLED panels
- No Samsung DeX support, no keyboard accessory
- No fast charger in the box
- No fingerprint sensor
If you want to buy a cheap tablet for watching movies, reading or writing an article, or surfing the more and more web content, Amazon’s Fire HD 8 tablet is Best Android Tablet for you. This tablet doesn’t have and access yo the Play Store or any of Google’s Apps, but also it’s too cheap, and for this price of just $90 with lock screen ads and $105 for without ads we didn’t expect any more. Amazon’s android Fire OS runs really good on this tablet, also Fire HD tablet gives you above average battery life because of its low-resolution display.
The Fire HD 8 tablet also has great parental control than other tablets in this price range which makes it a great family device. Still not having a Google Play Store makes some boundaries this tablet, it can’t offer as many apps or games as the other regular Android tablet or Apple iPad can give. One more thing is its display of 1280X800 is less sharp and vibrant than the earlier Tab S6 Lite
- Simple user interface
- Durable body
- Works as an Echo Show
- Amazon’s app store falls short of Google Play
- UI is very oriented toward showing Amazon content
If you really want one of the best Android tablet, Samsung offers you Samsung galaxy tab S6 without spending a lot of money. It has a 10.5-inch sparkling OLED Display with extraordinary brightness & contrast, and HDR support which even Apple doesn’t have sounds good right! This big-screen works fine with the pressure-sensitive Galaxy S Pen Stylus for drawing and taking notes. It’s too powerful for running multiple apps side by side, Also it has a desktop-style OS called Dex. This powerful tablet can run pretty good with the One UI version of Android 10, somehow it’s loaded down with some features which you will apparently never use. Also the price fo this tablet is nearly double that of the Tab S6 lite, I think in this price most of the people should get an iPad
- Fast performance
- Integrated S Pen charging
- S Pen and Samsung Notes are useful
- BookCover Keyboard has a touchpad
- Powerful speakers
- Excellent cameras
- No headphone jack
- Cramped keyboard
- Battery life could be better
- DeX mode still feels unfinished
How we choose and Check
For this review, We tested more than 25 Android tablets over the past 2 years. Not only past models we also test any promising new model that we can find. We find that many of them are quite low budget models with low performance and old school software. What makes me sad is companies aren’t releasing new Android tablets and so that Google also has given up to push developers to release new and good tablet apps
Below are some criteria that we use to choose which tablets are really worth buying:
|Display||I believe a good tablet must have a wide brightness range and high-resolution display. Most of the people use the tablet for watching the video, which is the most common use of tablet and no one really wants to be staring at a grimy, low-resolution display while watching on Netflix|
|Battery life||Who probably carries his/her tablet everywhere? I don’t, I do but phone, not a tablet. So it happened generally people forget to charge the tablet. And guess what, when you come back from work to the home you found your tablet battery is dead. I think the tablet’s battery life must have measured in days not hours. Its battery should be able to last through the whole day after heavy usage of surfing the internet, running apps, or playing games and streaming video.|
|Peformance||I know every tablet will feel slower over the life span of 2 years or more. As new apps grow massively, which required more power, like the android operating system which is a good but demanding feature like split-screen multitasking. Of course, a tablet is only good if it keeps up with the increasing apps and OS requirements. Everyone likes to play games on a big screen so its good is it matches the horsepower to play the latest mobile games. In our top picks, we only choose those models which have a powerful processor and a minimum 3 GB Ram|
|Software||One of the must-have things is which tablet runs the recent version of Android. Generally, tablets get software updates less frequently than phones, so nobody wants to start making a purchase with a disadvantage. for this article, we choose only that tablet that runs at least Android 10. We also consider tablets that make fewer changes to Google’s Android version.|
|Storage||Imagine you streaming your media and want to download video, music, and documents to your tablets but you can’t because of the low storage capacity of the tablet. Annoying Right? A tablet must have at least 32 GB internal storage to ensure you have enough room for all your stuff. Also, it must have a microSD card slot, as it lets you increase the storage capacity.|
We used all our pick tablets over about a week for normal tasks, like browsing the internet, watching videos, and listening to Spotify. We also took some photos, edited documents, and playing games.

Our Choice: Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite
Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has a large 10.4-inch display which is good for watching a movie, and a big battery makes sure you won’t run out of the charge while enjoying. This Tab S6 Lite comes with a beautiful S Pen stylus for drawing and taking notes on the tablet. I know it’s not as powerful as Samsung’s costlier GalaxyTab S6, Of Course, this model has no issue for running multiple apps and surfing the net. It runs Android 10, but generally, Samsung is slow to release newer versions for Android tablets. Samsung also kept some of the good features like desktop-like Dex mode and S Pen gestures for the costlier Samsung Galaxy Tab S6.
This Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has a big 2000X1200 LCD display, this is great compare to Amazon Fire HD 8’s ordinary LCD. Still, it’s not as good as the Tab S6 OLED display, which is sharper and vibrant than any of the tablets we’ve tested. The bezels around the display are the perfect size as they let you grip better the tablet comfortably without wasting space. Also, the S Pen can be attache to the edge of the tablet magnetically, which makes it always at hand. This S Pen has 4,096 Pressure levels, it makes me feel more like a real pen for taking notes and doodle.
It has a big 7,040 mAh battery, which enables this Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 lite can run for the whole day with a single charge. Of course not as long as Tab S6 but enough for doing all the needed work. Even if you use heavily this device couldn’t completely out od the charge in one day, Also it won’t die if you leave it overnight unplugged. It can charge at 15 W via USB-C port, for that you need some third party charging adapter. The box adapter can charge the tablets at only 7.5 W and takes too long time for fully charge the battery. Its only good if you charge overnight. If you want to get charge in the middle of the day you might want a bigger charger option.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite runs on Samsung’s Exynos 9611 processor. This processor has an 8 Core ARM chip same as the Snapdragon 855 in the Tab S6. We find that Exynos 9611 processor is about half-fast in benchmarks, but you cant notice this difference in daily use. It has 4 GB Ram which is enough to open apps quickly and keep multiple apps in memory while multitasking. We observed apps immediately resumed after being left overnight. Incredible gaming performance with high-end games like Fortnite and GTA series compared with Samsung Galaxy S6 Tab, which has a more powerful GPU. It is more capable than Amazon’s Fire HD 8.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Tab has an aluminum body frame with speakers on the bottom and top edges. It’s heavier than Tab S6 at almost 1 pound. It feels very durable and solid

The Cheapest tablet: Amazon Fire HD 8
Amazon Fire HD 8 (10th generation)
Generally, people use tablets for surfing the internet, reading the book, and watching the videos. This Amazon Fire HD 8 is perfect for all of these things, and the cost is too low that anyone can buy this. This Amazon Fire HD 8 starts at just $90 (lock-screen ads). This Fire HD 8 has a worse display and it is slower than the Samsung Galaxy tab S6 Lite or Samsung Galaxy tab S6. The $90 Fire HD 8 comes with only 32 GB storage and supports external microSD cards, which enables you to add as much storage as you want. It uses Amazon Service, not Google so that it doesn’t come with Play Store or any Google apps. you can still use Amazon’s stores, which has tons of books, music, and videos
.One irritating part is Amazon software gives you lots of suggestions for books and different apps like more than ads.
This Amazon Fire HD 8 tablet resolution is 1280X800 which is very low compare to the Galaxy Tab displays. This indicates that images and text are visibly less sharp, and also color imitation and brightness both are far behind what Samsung’s tablets produce. Though, this screen is quite good for you to watch videos. Because of the lower resolution screen, it gives the Fire HD 8 long-lasting battery life. If you use this device for a few hours of the day, its battery will be last long for 3 to 4 days.
If you check some other tab under $100 their feature is made by a lot of compromises, but not in this case. Amazon gives you value for money product. It has a low-end quad-core processor and only 2 GB RAM but this doesn’t impact its performance. Still, heavy sites often cause the web browser a little laggy and slow. Its OS is based on Android, which is mostly optimized for reading and watching not for work. It gives you access to tons of ebooks, videos, apps, and music. This OS’s great parental controls give this model a good tablet tag for younger children.
This tab doesn’t support split-screen apps.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 is integrated with Amazon Prime. This means all your Amazon cloud data and premium content readily available. Though, as you can install all Amazon’s apps on any device I don’t think this makes Fire HD 8 a unique choice. Also, it doesn’t have access to play store and google apps which makes it less useful than competitive. With a few changes, you can access the Google Play store on the Fire HD 8 and make it like a normal Android tablet. Of Course, you can not improve performance by doing this.
The $90 Fire HD 8 model has ads on the lock screen. This is bearable when you buying low-end media playing devices like this. Still, if you want a tablet without lock screen ads you have to invest $15 more. This doesn’t stop “suggestion” content during use.

High-end tablet: Samsung Galaxy Tab S6
Samsung Galaxy Tab S6
Some people thought if you have $600 or more for buying a tablet than you should go for an iPad Pro, which gives you a better app and all great ecosystem. But if you prefer Android over iOS than go for Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, it is best for you. Its pricing starts around $620, cheaper than the iPad Pro of course, and also much better hardware and some other way too. This device has a big 10.5 inch OLED display with great colors, HDR support, and unbelievable brightness range. It comes with S Pen stylus, absolutely free. This tablets’ OS version is specially optimized for the S Pen and Dex mode too.
Its 10.5 inch 2560X1600 OLED display is by far the best screen we ever have seen in any Android tablet. It has a low minimum brightness feature which gives you a great experience of watching Netflix in the night. This Tab S6 doesn’t have any headphone jack which makes Apple’s iPad Pro a value for money products. Verge says that despite being more powerful than any other tablet (especially Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite) this tablet is both lighter and thinner. The S Pen magnetically attaches to Tab S6 edge like Apple Pencil.
This Samsung Galaxy Tab s6 runs on Snapdragon 855 processor and 6 GB RAM. This makes Tab S6 super fast than Tab S6 Lite, and ultra-fast than Fire HD 8. It has 2 GB RAM more than Tab S6 Lite which means it can keep apps suspended in BG longer. This Tab S6 has a similar size battery of 7,040 mAh like tab S6 Lite. It has a higher resolution than Tab S6 Lite this indicates that its battery won’t last; longer than Samsung Galaxy S6 lite. This doesn’t mean you have to charge twice a day. Also, the snapdragon 855 process has a much better low power mode than Exynos 9611 processor in Tab S6 Lite that means it barely uses any power overnight.
This Tab S6 has an in-display fingerprint sensor which is good. Definitely, it’s not as fast as some sensors we have tested in the past, but it’s still better than nothing. Samsung also offers a keyboard case that makes the tablet being more productive and easier. Surely this is not for free. Samsung charges $180 quite costlier. Also, it is not inclined to stay attached to the tablet well, which doesn’t make any sense to worth the price.
